Mackenzie is the Global Startup Evangelist at AWS. His days are spent traveling the globe to meet startups, share their stories, and connect engineering teams together. Every day there are a large number of startups launching on AWS across every imaginable industry. It’s Mackenzie’s mission to find stories of startups that are helping to improve the world and share these stories with a wide audience.

 

Prior to joining AWS, Mackenzie was the Head of Technical Operations at Betterment, the world’s largest independent robo-advisor based in NYC which manages over $8B in assets. Mackenzie was a founding engineer and Head of Technical Operations at Oscar Health, an insurance startup also based in NYC, helping to grow the company to over 400+ employees.

Join AWS in January to get a jump start on 2024 at the re:Invent Roadshow - Charlotte!  re:Invent is the premier AWS event of the year, featuring dozens of transformative new capabilities, from new features and technologies to launches and announcements. 

 
The re:Invent roadshows will give you the opportunity to hear from distinguished Senior AWS leaders on the exciting new opportunities that were presented at re:Invent in Vegas. The event will highlight new announcements, educational sessions on Gen AI and Big Data, and include a panel of Executive leaders from AWS and our Partner community highlighting re:Invent announcements and what they are excited about in 2024.

Ben Schreiner is Head of Business Innovation and Go to Market Strategy for SMB customers at AWS. He helps customers rapidly innovate, build new businesses, and grow faster than ever before by leveraging the industry's leading cloud platform. He has a blend of global Fortune 500 and tech startup experience, both as a technology customer and provider. He has been advising CIOs and business leaders for nearly 20 years and is based in Texas (US).


Jay Rao

Principal Solutions Architect, Amazon Web Services

Jay Rao is a Principal Solutions Architect at AWS. He focuses on AI/ML technologies with a keen interest in Generative AI and Computer Vision. At AWS, he enjoys providing technical and strategic guidance to customers and helping them design and implement solutions that drive business outcomes. He is a book author (Computer Vision on AWS), regularly publishes blogs and code samples, and has delivered talks at tech conferences such as AWS re:Invent.
